ANIMATED WORKSHOP
In October 2021, the International Puppet Festival of Arrivano dal Mare di Gambettola helped us organize a two-day meeting with the students of Animateria and the Atelier delle Figure.
As an editorial team we had the desire to share with them a stage of ANIMATAZINE's journey, to be able to see where we were through their eyes.
We gathered in a circle and through words and images we told them the path that had brought us to the water and the path that the water had revealed to us: guests, readings, questions, contents, reflections.
Then we got to work and as diviners we started looking for water, all the water around us.
We have made available materials, inspirations, given a start and entrusted a task: to collect images, voices, sounds, impressions of water.
Make yourself sponges and then squeeze yourself in our hands and give us all the collected material.
And so it happened.
Bathrooms, kitchens, buckets, bottles, rivers, countryside, rains, glasses, streams, puddles.
The water has told itself.
These POM are our way of describing the sensitive gaze they have given us.
